Theatre Group Entries

Join the Fun

ARK Theatre invites local theatre companies to register to produce up to two short listed original Australian plays. Registration fees are $40 for one play or $60 for two.

You can also recruit some fellow actors and a director to register as an Ensemble.

ITC submissions will have a place reserved for them in the festival should their submitted play(s) make it onto the shortlist.  Once the shortlist is announced, successful ITC's will be asked to register should they wish to participate in the festival.

Last year 33 plays were performed between 18 theatre groups/ensembles with 2 plays from every heat going into the final. It was so much fun! Don’t miss out! Registrations open 1st October and close 10th November with shortlisted plays circulated 15th November to registered groups.

Prizes include; Heat winner prizes, Best Production, Best Script, People’s Choice Award (finals only), Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Youth Award.

Please note: Theatre groups/ensembles won’t know what plays they are producing until after registration. This only adds to the excitement that is ARKfest!

Further details are below, including the link to TryBooking to register your participation.

Shortlist will be announced mid-October.
