DEADLINE

Tim and Sam might have finally found their big break in the industry they’ve been struggling in for years! This could be their chance to make it big as playwrights! The only problem is, they have until 7am tomorrow to write… and on top of that, it just so happens they’ve found themselves locked inside their apartment...
​‘Deadline’ is a one act situation comedy play, following the chaos that is writing the night before a due date. The two dysfunctional friends struggle through the stages of sleep deprivation we all know too well, and a relentless case of writer's block, in an attempt to achieve their near impossible dream.

'Deadline' was performed as a part of YouthARK Theatre's 24hr Theatre event, and again at the Foster One-Act Play Festival. The festival was a great success, with actor Riley Stow receiving the 'best male actor' award and Candice Farrugia-Roberts receiving the 'writers encouragement award'.
